Patch 3.2 Mage Changes

• [Arcane Blast]: Mana cost reduced by 12%

Arcane mages are one of the most mana challenged specs to play which makes this change very welcome, by the time you hit your third stack of the debuff your saving around 200 mana per cast. (see table below)

Quiet often depending on your spec you can run into situations where you need to pay attention to spell and talent procs. When your in a raid and have a large amount of buffs this can be rather hard to do. There are two AddOns that I would recommend, Event Alert & Power Auras

Welcome, and thanks for visiting. My name is Laz and I’m the administrator of Magetrainer. Having played World of Warcraft since the Alpha I’ve tried every class to greater or lesser degrees (yes even warlocks) but none have held my attention as well as my mage. I admit there have been times when I’ve become perfectly frustrated (putting it mildly) with the state of things  and had to put my mage away  for a bit, in the end however I always seem to come back. I built this site for the purpose of sharing ideas (or at least amusing rants) about my own experiences in leveling and playing a mage, in time I hope to add other writers here as well who want to do the same.
