So it’s official [Living Bomb] is now the best spell ever (at least in 3.2), and why you may ask? Because now you can cast  it on more than one target at a time, though they have not yet updated the tooltip to reflect this yet.  Bear in mind this is only on the Public Test Realm and may never see the light of day. Personally I can’t see why it wouldn’t (though being a mage myself might be cause for bias).

Anyway something else occurred to me while I was reading though patch notes for 3.2. Remember we talked about the changes to Empowered Fire!

[Empowered Fire]: In addition to its existing effects, this talent now also grants a 33/67/100% chance to regain 2% of base mana each time the [Ignite] talent deals damage.

Now let’s put this together with the new  [Glyph of Living Bomb] which gives our Living Bomb tics a chance to crit and proc ignite which in turn would trigger the new Empowered Fire talent granting us mana back.  Now I’m not sure how well this is going to work but considering that you can put living bomb on multiple targets now and each tic on every target has a chance to crit and ignite this could be very interesting.

Quiet often depending on your spec you can run into situations where you need to pay attention to spell and talent procs. When your in a raid and have a large amount of buffs this can be rather hard to do. There are two AddOns that I would recommend, Event Alert & Power Auras
